After a trip of 5 hours the outlines of Saint Barth's are rising slowly above the horizon. At 4 p.m. we anchor at last in a bay near the capital of the isle "Gustavia".

The next day we rent a car for exploration the isle. Saint Barth has an area of 21 squarekilometers. In its cetre rises a mountain scenery, which changes towards the coast into rocky hill coutry. The capital Gustavia is lieing at the southwest coast. Along the protected northcoast stretches a white beach like half a moon and lond like kilometers.

In the port of Gustavia there are innumerable deluxe yachts.
