TRANSLATE 4. Today we crossed the border to Oregon. Temporary the coast highway branched off to the Oregon Dunes. The very much wooded coast gave suddenly way beaches and extensive dunes. The Oregon Dunes were an enjoy of special kind. Some of the sandhills have a hight up to 150m and at warm days we felt moved to Sahara.

We continued our trip along the beautiful coast of Oregon. Always the panorama invited us to a photo stop.

A good occasion to stop the drive was a side-trip to the interior of the "Tide pools", with cliffs, creeks, springs and 7km hiking paths.
