The flight to the mountains. By Twin-Otter we fly adventurously above mountains and valleys to Lukla. After 35 minutes we see some huts and a longish stripe on the end of a steep slope, which points at us, the runway!
It is not enough time for doubts or fear even, because we rumble uphill, and the pilot makes it to use the force for a masterly parking. We are landed in Lukla.
