Karlovy Vary is one of the world's most famous spa towns with the richest traditions. Since July 24, 2021, it has been included along with ten other spa towns in the UNESCO World Heritage list of the "Great Spa Towns of Europe."
The Church of St. Mary Magdalene is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the Czech Republic and is also the most important Catholic church in Karlovy Vary. Its interior houses magnificent 18th-century artworks, and beneath the church lies a crypt containing human remains and a chapel.
The Mill Spring Colonnade. Since the late 19th century, visitors from near and far have traveled here to experience for themselves the healing powers attributed to the local spring water.
