TRANSLATE 1. At 3p.m. we land at the Caribbean-island Guadeloupe. This island is situated in the east of the Caribbean sea, is an overseas department of France and part of the French West Indies. Both the main islands Basse-Terre and Grand-Terre are separated by a small strait of the Caribbean sea, Riviére Salée. In the evening we enter "RIKI" the sailing boat for the first time. It'll be our home for the next 2 weeks.

We visit the "Park Nationale de la Guadeloupe" with its nice "Cascade aux Ecrevisses".
